How much time has passed since my last post, I'm not gone, but I just continued my work in theater, which brought me out of the house more than 3 months.

I'm back with new ideas and projects that often alternate in my mind.
I found some new fabrics, including cotton flannel with this beautiful geraniums, soon this fabric will be transformed into wide skirts.

I recently took part in a vintage Christmas market, where, for the occasion I was able to carry out these fun lollipops - brooch.

I was thinking of also pencil skirts, in my boxes of patterns, I've found one with pockets crazy, and this is the result. What do you think of these pockets atomic?

30s 40s abito con cappuccio - part 2

After one year or so, here's another collaboration with the model pin up English, KITTEN VON MEW.

Some of you may remember this post.

And even in this case, here's another hooded dress.

The model is inspired by Hollywood Pattern - Betty Grable end of the 30s, early 40s. This pattern is now rare to find, unfortunately I do not have, then I've made ​​from new, making a small change.

The skirt is made of 4 parts and cut on the bias, waistband up the front and back ends with a big bow.
The same fabric of the skirt is also used for the inside of the cap and the implications of the sleeves.

PEASANT DRESS WITH PURSE COORDINATED

And behold, a new and impressive collaboration with Miss Amanda Lee:
peasant dress with purse to crochet and raffia decorations.

The dress is made of rayon fabric Royal Blue Dot, from vintage 40s pattern the neckline and waist circumference can be adjusted by coulisse that form of decorative bows red wine.

The matching purse was made by my friend Andrea.

He made ​​2 circles pierced and decorated with stylized flowers, raffia, in the same color of the dress.

 The interior is fully lined with the same fabric of the dress.

NEW COLLABORATION WITH NEREA

It's been a year since Nerea, the dj Spanish,has collaborated with The Black Pinafore, do you remember this post?



Now, we decided to make a set.

THE BLACK PINAFORE with KITTY WINK VINTAGE

A new collaboration here in THE BLACK PINAFORE, indeed plus collaborations.

Hey Girls, recently I have been contact by Alison MacMath, she a beauty artist who lives in Lancashire, England, you can see her amazing site http://www.kittywinkvintage.co.uk/

Initially, she commissioned a custom made dress for her, she was so happy that she's back right away to propose a photographic project in vintage style complete with makeup and hairstyles.

Alison has not deliberately asked professional models, but she wanted to give to anyone the opportunity to be a model for a day, then, she has launched her facebook, a competition to take part in this unique experience.

You can see below, the 5 winners, but above all you can see the professionalism of Alison McMath who created the hairstyles and his colleague Wendy Donaldson , who has taken care of makeup.
